There are 133 Medicube products on this page, which is the problem. The brand releases a lot, the names all sound similar, and scrolling won't help you. The useful thing to know is that almost everything belongs to one of four lines, and you only need one of them.

Pick your line, ignore the rest

Zero Pore if your issue is pores, blackheads and oil. PDRN Pink Collagen if it's dullness and loss of firmness. Collagen if it's dehydration and skin that looks flat. TXA Niacinamide or Kojic Acid Turmeric if it's dark spots and uneven tone. Everything else in the range is a variation on those four.

Zero Pore pads: don't use them nightly

Zero Pore Pad 2.0 is the product that made the brand popular in Egypt, and it's also the one most often overused. These are exfoliating pads, not toner pads. Two or three nights a week is the starting point, and if your skin stings or flushes, switch to the Mild version. Around them sit One Day Serum with AHA, BHA and PHA, the Blackhead Mud Mask for the nose and chin, and One Day Cream. See Pores & Texture and Blackheads & Whiteheads.

What PDRN actually is, and whether it's worth it

PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide, a salmon-derived ingredient Korean brands use for skin recovery and elasticity. It's the active behind the whole pink range, starting with PDRN Pink Peptide Serum, which is the best-selling product in this collection. Whether it's worth it depends on what you want from it: it's a good hydrating, plumping serum with visible short-term results on dullness. If you're after structural anti-ageing, retinol and vitamin C have far more evidence behind them. The line also includes a Capsule Cream, an Eye Cream and a Lip Sleeping Mask. See Peptides.

The overnight mask people keep rebuying

Collagen Night Wrapping Mask is the one item from this brand that gets repurchased more than anything else. Thick layer as the last step, sleep, wash off. It suits dehydrated and dull skin, less so very oily skin. The lighter option from the same line is Collagen Jelly Cream, also in 110ml. Browse Collagen.

Dark spots: TXA or kojic acid?

TXA Niacinamide 15% is the stronger, more targeted one — tranexamic acid plus a high niacinamide dose, for stubborn marks and pigmentation that hasn't shifted. Kojic Acid Turmeric is gentler and better for overall dullness and mild unevenness rather than specific spots. Starting with the 15% when your issue is just dullness is a common way to end up irritated for no reason. See Dark Spots & Pigmentation and Niacinamide. For body breakouts there's Red Acne Body Peeling Shot — see Body Acne.

Questions people actually ask

Where is Medicube from?

South Korea. A Seoul brand launched in 2015, owned by APR Corporation, which also makes the AGE-R devices.

Which Medicube product should I start with?

Zero Pore Pad 2.0 for pores and oil, PDRN Pink Peptide Serum for dullness, Collagen Night Wrapping Mask for dehydration. One of those three covers most people.

Can I use Zero Pore Pads with retinol?

Not on the same night. Both exfoliate in their own way and stacking them is how people end up with a compromised barrier.

What's a capsule cream?

Medicube's format where the active sits in visible capsules that break as you apply it. It's a delivery format, not a different category of product — judge it on the ingredient, not the capsules.
